Almost half over.. :(

I accidentally posted that last one with just the title. Desculpa (sorry). I am sorry that it has been so long since the last time that I have posted to all of you. (This is Josh by the way) It has been an amazing time!! I can't even quite give an accurate explanation of what Jesus is doing. He is healing the sick, the deaf are hearing, blind eyes are opening and people are coming to Jesus!!! This is what is all about. As Jess said in the last post, we have gone on a couple of outreaches and people's lives are dramatically being changed. Moslems are being saved and healed which is not something that many christians believe possible. But one thing that Jesus is impressing on my heart is that if I am going to see the Kingdom of God come in power and see people's lives transformed than I have to be Christ. It's not about lofty words. It's about being Jesus. It's about Incarnational love. This last week Jesus hit me in power. I was at a meeting with Heidi Baker and she began to ask this question, "What do you want? Do you want your family? Do you want your city, your state, your nation? What is it that you want." I began to really think about this and as she was saying this I began to break for the broken; the phsyically broken in this life. I then began to ask Jesus, "Give me the broken Jesus, the lame, the sick, the hopeless, the left out." My heart was truly being broken for the people that are going through life hurting, that many people have called illegitimate. I began to sob uncontrollably for these people with groanings that seemed to come out of the depths of my spirit. All I wanted was to be with these people. To love them the way Jesus would love them; to sit in the dirt and enter their lives as they are with no expectations on them. The love of Christ will speak so much more than words about Christ. Spend a little time thinking about this. We spend so much time wanting people to come to Jesus with our words but do nothing in the realm of loving people. We say that we will love them if...something...if they come to church...if they change their behavior...their lifestyle. We forget that Christ went after his disciples. He sought them out. I wonder what it would be like if we simply started to Love people the way Christ would love. I truly believe that many more would be healed of their sicknesses, diseases, blindness etc...Its out of the Love of Christ that the world will come to him. If they don't feel loved, they will not come. This last outreach that Jess talked about was amazing. Right after I had asked Jesus for the broken we got to go on ourtreach and meet so many beautiful people with disabilities or sicknesses. I want to share with you 2 of our stories. The first was moslem man who was sent home with a stomach problem that the hospital could not help. He was sent home to pretty much die. He was bleeding internally for a year. In africa, this is your death certificate. We began to pray for him doing nothing in the line of telling him that he needed to be saved before Jesus could heal him. Jesus wouldnt have done that. We simply began to pray and rebuke things off of him. To make a long story short, he was healed and was doing things that he hadn't done in a year. We saw him later and he was smiling and he gave me a huge hug. For a moslem man to come up to me, a white Christian, is not heard of here. What medicine couldnt do for this man Jesus did. The second story is the one that makes me jump and praise Jesus so much. A little girl who had maleria was sitting in her dad's arms and she was so hot. She had to have had a 104 degree temp. She looked so bad and lifeless. We all were filled with faith from the moslem man so we prayed with faith and authority that has been given to us by the blood of Christ, by the work of the cross. In 3 minutes I opened my eyes and saw a white dove standing in the center of our team of 5 (jess, me, james from kenya, and two local pastors). We have never seen any doves and I told the team to look. As soon as everyone saw the dove, she was healed. The presence of God was there and his Spirit was manifested through that dove. Her fever went completely away and her dad kept feeling her in astonishment. Maleria is a killer here!!! And and the Kingdom of Heaven came crashing into this village's reality and destroyed the works of the enemy. As we left their home we heard them break out into worship of Jesus even though they didnt know him. They couldnt believe that Jesus healed their little girl but it's because he loves them. They felt the Kingdom of God that day and they couldnt disprove what happened. Jesus is so much bigger than we know and his authority is so much more than we can dare imagine. Jesus just wants people to know how much they are loved. All we have to do is love them and he does the rest. He is so good!!!! I encourage all of you to begin to just fall more in love with Jesus and stop trying to 'do' things for Jesus. it isnt anything we can do, we just need to fall more in love with Him and out of the overflow, he will accomplish healings, transformations, deliverances etc...I love all of you and can't wait to talk with all you.
